Join us for a tasting of wines from Greece.  As you will learn if you attend, Greece has a diverse climate, all the way from Mediterranean shores to snow capped mountains.  The land near Mt. Olympus has weather very similar to Napa and Sonoma counties in California.  So, expect to be treated to a wide variety of wines.

In case you aren't familiar with it, Retsina is a style of Greek white or rose wine that has been made for over 2000 years.  Before barrel aging and good corks, it was difficult to seal wine bottles, and a pine resin was used.  This imparts a strong pine taste to the wine.  It takes a little getting used to.
